Data & methodology
The rules behind every number on Prism.
›Listing verification
Every asset on Prism is a real tokenized instrument from a verified tokenization platform. Each record carries a verification status:
- On-chain verified — the token contract address has been confirmed against public block explorers and the issuer’s own documentation.
- Registry verified — ownership records are maintained by a regulated transfer agent or registered fund whose registry we confirmed directly.
- Issuer verified — the asset is confirmed from the issuer’s official disclosures; where a contract address could not be independently confirmed, we link to the issuer registry instead of displaying an address. Addresses are never guessed.
›Market data
Prices, market capitalization, volume and 24h changes for freely-traded tokens are refreshed from public market-data feeds by the ingestion pipeline; these figures are marked live with their fetch time. All other figures are point-in-time snapshots from issuer disclosures — NAV reports, attestations, transparency pages — stamped with a “data as of” date on every asset page.
Historical charts interpolate between sparse verified disclosure anchors using a monotone cubic spline that never overshoots the anchor values; such series are labeled “indicative” with their anchor count.
›Risk score (1–10)
A structural assessment, not a price forecast. Four pillars, equally weighted: credit & collateral (what backs the token, seniority, bankruptcy remoteness), structure & regulation (registered fund vs. offshore SPV vs. bare certificate; regulatory oversight), liquidity (exit paths, venue depth, redemption windows) and operational (custody arrangement, oracle/NAV dependency, platform concentration, track record). Lower is safer; registered government money market funds anchor the low end, single-asset alternatives the high end.
›Liquidity score (1–10)
Composite of venue depth (DEX pools and exchange order books), typical daily turnover relative to market cap, redemption mechanics (instant / windowed / none) and transfer restrictions (permissionless vs. whitelist-gated). A 9 trades like a major token; a 1–2 requires negotiated transfers or fund redemption windows.
›Analyst notes
Each asset carries a Prism analyst note generated from issuer disclosures and reviewed against the sources linked on the page. Notes describe structure, risks and market context; they are never investment advice and never contain figures that don’t appear in the sourced data.
›Corrections
Tokenized markets move quickly. If a figure or structural description is out of date, the fastest path to correction is the issuer’s primary source linked on every asset page — our pipeline re-verifies flagged listings ahead of the scheduled cycle.
